Apple has unveiled its Vision Pro headset. Elegantly designed and packed with technology, it is reported to provide an experience unmatched by other headsets available in the market.
Historically speaking, the scepticism surrounding the Vision Pro has been witnessed with technologies such as foldable screens. Often this resistance to adoption eases off. However, I do believe this time it is different.
There are a variety of adaptations needed to be made in order to integrate this product into your daily life, from carrying a battery pack to having your eyes bizarrely, and disproportionately, projected on the other side of the lenses so others can make eye contact.
For now, we can rest assured someone is paying attention to us if their phone is out of sight. With the Vision Pro, we just have to hope they don’t have a film, message thread, and Instagram hovering over our faces as we talk to them.
