Stay in the 70s at this Hotel in Portugal

Danish photographer Mikkel Kristensen has opened Marqí in Portugal. The hotel highlights mid-century design features while also using 70s-inspired themes to create a serene getaway. Perhaps one of the more unique features is the inexistence of a booking website, you have to call if you want in. Despite this quirk, the hotel has been extremely popular. Woodio has developed a toilet that is made of 80% locally sourced wood and offcuts from the Finnish forestry industry. Though the Finnish' design company’s toilet design incorporates some fossil-based materials for structural purposes it still produces 99% fewer emissions than its ceramic equivalents.
